Kazumi Hasebe (長谷部 和美, Hasebe Kazumi, はせべ Hasebe) is a 3rd Year Student of Reihou Academy and fictional character in Kunio-kun series. Her first appearance in Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari, and she is the girlfriend of Yamada and warns Kunio and Riki about the Hattori Twins. She is also the Student Vice President of Reihou Academy.

Other Games
Hasebe was one of the more frequent female characters in the series, though her role varies from game to game. She seems to have feelings for Kunio, but it's a bit unclear whether she or Misako is his current girlfriend. She has usually been seen as the default girly-girl character, but in River City Super Sports Challenge: All Stars Special, she is revealed to be quite strong and a talented fighter; able to intimidate boys; in one scene, she even knocks three of them flying. She finally made her official playable debut in that game's first downloadable DLC, where she leads a team of other girls from the series; mostly cheerleaders. Curiously, her hair in that game is dark blue instead of her usual purple. Because Hasebe also serves as the game's MC, and the cheerleaders also affiliate with other teams in a non-playable capacity, playing as them in will result in two instances of a girl appearing in some scenes.
